A Day with Ridgeview

Sparkling Wine Training with Our Teams
RIDGEVIEW 2
RIDGEVIEW 2

Our teams had the privilege of visiting @ridgeviewwineuk for a day of vineyard exploration and wine tasting! ????

We were lucky enough to be guided around the beautiful estate near the South Downs  by co-owner herself, Mardi. The day started with a tour of the grounds, where Mardi shared her insight into the day-to-day life on the vineyard and how it came to be where it is today.

The team learnt a lot about the history of the family-run business and the fermentation process of their award winning sparkling wines. The vision began nearly  30 years ago with a pioneering dream to put English winemaking on the global stage. With their family focused ethos, a great team of specialists in cool climate viticulture and determination, Ridgeview have become leaders of the English wine revolution.

After a trip to the impressive wine cellar and a glimpse of the bottling process, the day came to an end with a private wine tasting. The teams sampled a range of moreish wines and charcuterie and listened to head winemaker, Simon relay nostalgic anecdotes about his parents who founded the company in 1994 . If you haven’t had a chance to already, we would definitely recommend a visit.
