Lake District Farmers

We believe it is incredibly important to know exactly what journey all of our produce has taken, not only as it effects the taste of our dishes but we also want to ensure that we minimise the impact we have on the world around us.

We are very careful about our supply chains, and are interested in the care that is taken along the road to our customers plates. We source much of our meat from Lake District Farmers, as we know they share our ethos and core values.

A shared ethos…

Our suppliers, Lake District Farmers’ mission is “To produce a sustainable future for fell farming in Cumbria.” They are infamous in the industry and supply the highest level of restaurants, we chose them specifically because in every aspect of the journey our food takes with Lake District Farmer’s, the animal is respected, nourished and cared for. They use traditional farming methods that go back hundreds of years, they are time honoured and slow – but they are more sustainable.

Lake District Darmers are incredibly passionate about the product and we truly believe this is visible from their produce and in the taste of our meat.
